Kristen Haynes was been released from federal prison today. She was serving a 2 year sentence for unpaid taxes assessed while living in Roatan. Her daughter Harmony has been staying in touch with her regularly via email. A recent video posted on Facebook features a happy Kristen arriving at her new home in Florida. Her spirits are high and she was thrilled to have her first yogurt since being incarcerated. She sends her thanks to all her friends and family in Roatan and abroad. It may still be a few months before she is permitted to leave the US. Her husband Scott Haynes is still serving a longer sentence and is expected to be released within a year or so.
